Jitterz Coffee Roasters

Colombia, Field Blend, Santa Maria

Read time: under 1 minute.

Santa Maria is a field blend of Colombia's two most commonly grown varieties: Colombia and Caturra. This coffee is a beautiful expression of the balance of flavors a 'chuggable' cup of coffee would have. Suppose we can say anything about this micro-lot from the Huila region in Colombia. In that case, it is that it's full of flavor, and it's become an in-house favorite. In the cup, we find raw sugar aromatics and taste molasses, dried cranberry, and hazelnut.

The region describes where the beans were planted, grown, and harvested.

The varietal refers to the type of coffee plant that produced the bean.

MASL is short for "Meters Above Sea Level". Altitude plays a big role in shaping the flavor of the beans.
