Twenty Four Karat, Seasonal Blend
Read time: under 1 minute.
Twenty-Four Karat is a blend of two coffees unique to our approach in creating a flavor profile we can control. The backstory to 'Twenty-Four,' as we call it in our cafes, was to create a blend, considering its primary purpose was to be brewed using the method of espresso and combined with milk. As we have grown in our approach to brewing coffee in our cafes, you will rarely find Twenty-Four Karat brewed in our coffee bar locations, but always quality controlled in our roastery and set on our retail shelves. Is Twenty-Four Karat a dark roast? No, not at all, actually; it's just roasted to be sufficient enough to taste great, brewed as a black cup of coffee, and to combine well with milk where the milk beverage doesn't come off as sour, spoiled milk. Twenty-Four Karat started by blending the best coffees we could source, which will remain the same. The blend currently consists of Colombia Santa Maria and Guji Shakiso Gigesa from Ethiopia. The brewed cup has a rich flavor profile reminiscent of hazelnut syrup, dark chocolate, honey, and dates.
